Done for you
What a done-for-you AI receptionist includes
Disclosure: First Deploy wrote this page, and First Deploy is one of the options on it. Competitor prices and features come only from each vendor's own public pages, read October 19, 2026, and are listed under Sources. Vendors change prices, so check their page before you buy. If something here is out of date, call (320) 335-6186 and we'll fix it.
Lots of AI phone products say they're easy to set up. "Done for you" should mean you don't do the setup at all. Here's exactly what's included when First Deploy builds your after-hours desk, step by step, so you can compare it with anything else you're considering.
1. A written plan
Before any work starts, we write down your greeting, the questions the desk asks, your emergency rules and safety steps, what it must never say, where call details go, and the go-live date. $250 starts the work.
2. A build in your shop's name
- Answers with your business name, hours, service area, and the work you do and don't take.
- Asks for name, callback number (read back to confirm), service address, the problem and how soon.
- Keeps your existing number. You forward it after hours or when you don't pick up, and we walk you through it.
- Recording notice at the start of every call. It says it's an automated assistant if asked.
- No quotes, arrival promises, discounts or your cell number unless you say so.
3. Testing before go-live
We put it through practice calls against hard callers (angry, confused, emergencies, robocalls) and fix what breaks before your customers ever hear it.
4. Go live and keep tuning
You forward your line. The balance is due at completion. From go-live it's $100/mo, which covers ongoing tuning and changes, and you call the person who built it instead of a ticket queue.
What's not included
We don't promise more jobs or a revenue number. The desk doesn't staff live humans. Calendar booking isn't standard; if you want calls booked straight into a calendar, we scope that in your written plan.

First Deploy, in one paragraph
First Deploy builds and runs an after-hours AI phone desk for trade shops. We write the script with you, set it up on the number you already have (you forward it after hours or when you don't pick up), test it with practice calls before go-live, and keep tuning it while the monthly is on. It answers in your shop's name, takes the caller's name, callback number (read back), address, problem and urgency, flags emergencies under rules you approve, and sends you the details right away. By default it never quotes prices, promises arrival times or gives out your cell, and every call opens with a recording notice. Price: $500 setup ($250 to start, balance at completion), then $100/mo from go-live. Month to month. No per-minute or per-call charge.
